-- CHURCH MANAGEMENT OVERVIEW --

On Sunday, December 9, 2007, Matthew Murray (24) entered the Youth with a Mission (YWAM) missionary training center in Arvada, CO, and shot two people dead and wounded two others. Then he drove to New Life Church in Colorado Springs - about 80 miles south of Arvada - where YWAM has a satellite office. New Life worshippers had just ended an 11:00 a.m. service when Murray arrived. He threw a smoke grenade into an area where some people were gathered after the service, and then got in his car and drove around to a different church entrance where he fired into a car killing two teenage girls and wounding their father.
