Fernando Figueroa has been study martial arts for over seventeen years and is a chief instructor for Jim Wagner’s Reality Based Personal Protection. He is certified in defensive tactics, ground survival, knife survival, crime survival, terrorism survival, handgun survival, improvised weapons, and conflict conditioning and has also trained in Defendo’s Combat Overview for Reaction to Engagement training. Fernando has also trained in various bodyguard training like the Russian Systema. This particular fighting system has been shrouded in secrecy and reserved exclusively for the Russian Special Forces (SPETSNAZ).

Fernando’s strong background in varying self-defense techniques brings a unique and much needed survival training product to the law enforcement community in the form of unarmed fighting.
