Responsible for the mobilization and combat training of personnel in detainee operations, sustainment operations, joint area support group operations, and command and control headquarters in preparation for deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan in support of the War on Terror; provide support and oversight in operational and training areas specific to each exercise and unit.

United States Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Jun 2006 – Jun 2008
Commander, Wing Force Protection/Antiterrorism Officer, Assistant Professor: Manage 115 personnel; responsible for teaching, advising and counseling in preparation for their becoming leaders of character in the US Air Force; responsible for the security measures of 7,000 personnel within the cadet area of the US Air Force Academy; instructor of Military Strategic Studies 400 course, leadership, and ethics; senior officer in the planning and execution of resistance/interrogation summer training during terrorist hostage scenarios; prepared and implemented active shooter checklists to protect over 4,500 students and faculty members during daily academics, living, and sporting events, coordinated with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies for joint agreements/responses, created and conducted practical scenarios ranging in participatory training to executive level decision making.

Managed an annual budget and assets valued over 3.5 million dollars. Deployed unit in support of Operation “IRAQI FREEDOM” in the War on Terror.

Assisted in the analysis, development and tactical execution of the military installation security and emergency response plan immediately following the initiation of the 9/11 attacks; coordinated and directed force protection measures to increase security installation for local housing, businesses, and schools. 560th Military Police Company, Hanau, Germany, Apr 1997 – Mar 2000
Platoon Leader, Senior Military Customs Officer, Physical Security Officer: Responsible for a military police platoon of 36 personnel that conducted military customs and black market operations throughout Europe and the Balkans region of military operations; inspected unit areas throughout Germany for physical security deficiencies and threat vulnerabilities as related to current local threat assessments and organizational policies. Assisted in the executive analysis, development, and tactical execution of physical security plans for multiple military installations throughout Germany immediately following the two US embassy attacks in Africa led by al-Qaeda terrorist supported militant Islamic extremist groups.

Operational Deployments:
Operation “IRAQI FREEDOM” (Task Force Warrior)
Duty Positions: Company Commander, TF Force Protection Officer, TF Deputy Provost Marshal
Responsibilities: Managed 154 personnel and provided security for a task force consisting of over 2,000 personnel to include Iraqi dissidents; ensured the safe interaction, training, and subsequent movement of Iraqi dissidents in preparation and execution of the initial ground war in Iraq.

Operation “ENDURING FREEDOM” (Task Force Rakkasan)
Duty Positions: Battalion Battle Captain (Detainee Operations), Force Protection Officer, Customs Officer, Liaison Officer to FBI, CIA, and Special Operations Command for detainee operations
Responsibilities: Prepared and executed daily operational orders in the capture, processing, detention, interrogations, and subsequent movement to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, of over 550 al-Qaeda and Taliban terrorists in Kandahar, Afghanistan; direct liaison between the US Army and other federal law enforcement agencies in a direct effort to find Usama bin Laden.

Operation “JOINT FORGE” (Task Force Rijeka III)
Duty Positions: TF Provost Marshal, Force Protection Officer, Customs Officer, Liaison Officer to local Croatian police and customs officials and Croatian Military Police Commander
Responsibilities: Task Force security for over 800 personnel; liaison operations with local and foreign law enforcement and military agencies to ensure proper protocols were observed; provided protective services details for all US dignitaries traveling in the immediate area; ensured the safe movement of all US civilian and military forces in and out of the Balkans Region through the Rijeka, Croatia seaport.
